Dr. Abbasian is a great psychiatrist who was incredibly understanding and helped me receive my diagnosis. Highly recommend, as he was able to cater to any question I had and I was also very nervous leading up to my video call with him but I was soon at ease upon speaking with him as he was very easy to talk to.

Definitely two thumbs up! Upon reflection of my experience as a patient of Dr. Abbasian, through both NHS and private referral, I would highly recommend his psychiatric opinion. He has an exceptional capacity to empathetically, non-judgementally and critically listen to his patient. After 21 long years of struggle, and visits to numerous GPs, he was the first doctor to reach a satisfactory diagnosis. When I thanked him and stated how his diagnosis changed my life, he jokingly remarked "we haven't even started the treatment yet." Well yes, but I believe many people suffering from mental health disorders can relate to a deep feeling of consolation, in finally learning what is wrong with them from a credible source. Dr. Abbasian gave me realistic counsel and direction, while also taking the initiative to offer a level of care above and beyond what was explicitly requested. Asking whether I would find it helpful if he communicated with my university directly to co-ordinate care, is a great example. I won't go into the details of how individual appointment with him have benefited me, as I believe everyone is different and will have varying interactions with him. What should be noted however, is that Dr. Abbasian embodies the fundamentals of an excellent psychiatric doctor. As such, I gladly advise that patients pursue his assessment if they WantGreatCare!

I’ve met Dr Cyrus this year, 3 appointments already, and it has been really reassuring being treated by someone who assesses not only to the symptoms but the long terms implications of different treatments too, crafting a long term plan that responds to how I want to feel in the long run. I’d definitely recommend him.

Just excellent. I have struggled with ADHD my whole life. I have been told over and over that my struggles were attributed to weak willpower or a lack of ambition and i have for a long time believed it. Despite being a student at relatively good university Dr Abbasian understood the struggle and the stress I was going through and if I hadn't seen him, I could only see my life worsening. I do believe I am not the most obvious case of ADHD as I am not externaly hyperactive. I have seen psychiatrists before that dismissed my feelings and doubts and told me that I couldn't possibly have ADHD because of my academic achievements and the fact that i don't display obvious hyperactivity. Dr Abbasian successfully saw through my symptoms and ever since I saw him my life has tremendously improved.

I am a mental health professional and was seeking a confidential opinion outside my work area. Cyrus was able to allow me to adopt a patient role . Cyrus showed professionalism, expertise and candour. I would highly recommend him to other mental health professionals looking to seek personal opinions for their own mental health - something that is not easy to do.
